I suppose you have all seen Marther's statement and previous statements saying ND is treating Forest like all his other companies and letting them get on with it. If this is so then Frank Clark's duty as Chairman is to weed out the deadwood holding the club back starting with his CEO. Sufficient revenues are not being generated at the City Ground. Why do they have a restaurant that is open about 30 days a year, franchise it out and get some rent in from it. It could have been used for the supporters do last year instead of cramming everyone in that small player's lounge. Why aren’t there pop concerts or boxing bouts held in the ground in the summer months, this is all down to the CEO remit and he not doing it!
Yeah I saw it and it wasn't a positive statement at all! basically saying, not funding any new players, we have to sell before buying. Who do we have to sell!?? Truth is Billy took a bunch of average players and made them over achieve. Now we're paying the price as the players think they're better than they actually are (such as McGugan). We let an idiot like McLaren free with a few million quid and suddenly Doughty realised how shit it is to invest in a shit manager. It pains me to see the state this club is in after such a short space of time. It has at least killed my passion for the game which means I'll only be going to one away game this season (WHU tomorrow). Other than that they can all F**K off! I have already spent too much money on Forest and it's not worth it! I enjoy the home games as it's a chance to meet up with my family. But as for the football it has been awful! (And I've only been to two games this season!!)
Sorry for diverting the topic a little. I know this was originally about Marther Fuc**r, and yes he has been a long time holding this club back.
