42 match unbeaten record..come on you Pies!

Posted by careybhoy on 18/11/2011 18:50:44

Did you know that if the Terriers avoid defeat against our neighbours from accross the river that our 42 game unbeaten FOOTBALL LEAGUE record goes west. This stretched from Nov 77 to Dec78 and of course included winning the league championship.Huddersfield have already equalled our record so lets hope the Pies can pull off a win at the Chip pan stadium or whatever it is they call it..oh yes...Galpharm (what the feck is a Galpharm?)

As good as Huddersfield's record is, our unbeaten run was in the top-flight against the likes of L'pool, Man City and Man Utd etc (who as every "new" Utd fan conveniently can't remember or doesn't know that then  they were shite!)  Huddersfield's stadium (built in1994 as The Alfred McAlpine Stadium) was renamed Galpharm after the Galpharm Health Group.

Well, our neighbours failed in their quest and the record tumbled, can they now go on to beat the Arses all time record of 49 games without defeat.I for one will be watching closely. So their banana truss stadium is named after a health care company RDT, thank you for that information.
