eason Tickets are sold to us providing we adhere to the Ground Regulations. How many season ticket holders have read these rules, I certainly did not, and had I done so would not have agreed to these ambiguous "catch all" rules. For instance I intend to wear my unofficial Ireland shirt to the game on Sunday, its green and I will be wearing it to show my support for the rest of those who think our club is being badly run. However rule 8 (below) implies that I may not be allowed in the ground and as others have indicated that they will sport green scarfs, they too could be excluded. Also rule 1.2 (below) could be used should our chants annoy the chairman or his lapdog. The whole list of regulations are displayed at the link below.
1.2 whose presence within the Ground is, or could (in the Club's reasonable opinion), constitute a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person.
8 Further, you may not bring into the Ground any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials save in respect of official club merchandise and/or other football related clothing worn in good faith nor may you offer (either free or for sale by any person) any goods (including literature) of any nature without the express written approval of the Management.

Crikey Wings...that is going a bit far , civil liberties are being supressed...they can actually tell supporters what they can wear? So, in theoty , they could refuse entry to Birmingham supporters wearing Birmingham shirts?
This is scary.
In theory, a current club sponsor could object to a retro shirt sporting a competitor's logo. Remember each time they change the shirt and we buy we also become a walking billboard for the current sponsor.
In anticipation of any enforcement of rule 8, here's a song to sing - with apologies to my countrymen!
O Paddy dear, and did ye hear the news that's goin' round?
The green is by law forbid to be seen at the City Ground!
No more Brian's Day we'll keep, his color can't be seen
For there's a cruel law ag'in the Wearin' o' the Green."
I met with Kenny Burns, and he took me by the hand
And he said, "How's poor old Forest, and how does she stand?"
"She's the most distressful team that ever yet was seen
For they're banning men and women there for the Wearin' o' the Green."
And so it continues, flood the ground with Fester Fans, that'll teach you ungrateful lot!
Has anyone got any information of what was said in the meeting between the supporters club and the club on 10th Jan, or has Marther slapped a 'D' notice on that?
