Hi I am Adam,

I am new to the site and would like to say hello to everyone,

I Love Nottingham Forest with a passion, everything about the club is special and rare, even the city is great and the nottingham people first class. I dont no many clubs in the country which can boast about past glories and even what we have put in the world of football, it was us who got goal nets from table clothes to goal nets, it was a forest player in which first invented shin pads, us who first used a whistle and just recently had the first ever lines women in the world... This club is amazing and the future looks very bright for us, we've had our ups and downs but surely after comming so close to reaching where we belong in the last two seasons this comming season could be our year???

 Even though all of this i and most of you would probably agree that the lack of signing's so far and the amount of players we have lost/loosing is really worring. We all agree a LB is vital, maybe a player with abit of class, attacking down the wing ability or even experience i.e Shorey, Konchesky or maybe Bertrand.

A goal scorer other than a 13 goal a season midfielder is also needed and maybe another midfielder or two, but even our youth given the chance could prove a bonus for us, young, athletic and full of potential. Look at our past youth players that have made it in the top flight or even our current youth in which broke through with us (McGugan).

yeah sure things will happen, we are probably just waiting for the right players which in away i suppose is better than wasting money on players that will only appear 4 or 5 times lol, See derby are buying half of england again no wonder they never do well there players never have time to gell because there always changing, Roll on the new season :) i think players such as Anderson and majeski will flurish this season along side with camp and mcgugan, Cant wait let the season begin,

thanks mate, yeah same but nothing ever happens lol, moussi and earnshaw are definate keeps for this season if were going to push for promotion, earnshaw maybe as a supersub though? he makes a great impact when he comes off the bench, maybe start tudgay and hopefully blackstock or findley... Giles Barnes im hoping could be good for us but its a risk cuz i think he could be another tyson, play two games then out for 3months injured but andy reid would be a great signing, full of experience which mclaran stated he wants and loves our club as he spend many years with us previously and the added bonus they would be free so if they dont fit in or not as good we wont loose money on them :) also think boyd would be good but maynard would be better, he's young and talented think he could be a top player.

I'm not worried about the depature of McKenna but think we should have got a fee from Hull, he was the club captain. Adabola on a free was expected and I never expected us to renew it. Tyson I feel is another player we should have sold and got a transfer fee-but I'm not upset to see him depart as he did not score enough goals. Wilson, should have cashed in on. Moussi would be a big loss, not sure why we let his contract run down????????? and this would leave us wanting in midfield in physical games. I expect Andy Reid to come back to the CG but always have mixed emotions about players leaving and returning. Maybe thats why Stuart Pearce is a true legend to us Forest fans.

Ive seen alot of people saying "McClaren? Why?"  well quite frankly becuase hes a class manager. He's had good times and bad times, like all good managers.

Alots of rumours that McGugan and Majewski are on their way out, simply...No! cant see that happening, Stevey will want to keep all the important players for his first season, regardless! Reidy is back, great signing, all you boo boys give him a chance to get fit and youll see him at his best.  This is forests season, people are worried about the players we are letting go, but open your eyes, McKenna the centre of 90% possession give-aways, and Dele, just wont figure!

Players in, Garner, time for him to shine was never a fan of BD's but has a fresh start to give something back to the club, Reidy youll see hell be solid this season, not fast or quick in anyway, but clever and has pin-point left foot! Maynard, good replacement for Earnie, and simply has a bit more about him...

Players out: Earnie, not worth the wages we pay him quite frankly, Tyson? possibly a bad decision when played in his prefered position (striker) he'd of done something, Kelvin Wilson, blatently had a fall out with the forest backroom staff left under strange circumstances

To round up id like to see the following players given their chance this season, BD played 15 players never and more unless he had too and id like to see a little bit of rotation and people to given their chance!

McCleary, Moloney, Bennett, Lynch, McGoldrick, Garner they need a chance!
