Maybe Billy and Co have been reading our everlong posts about the strikers, but we've today signed Kris Boyd From Middlesbrough on Loan. What do we think of this signing?

Lol, very funny RDT70's, lets hope he can better Garners 4 goals in 7 (1) as sub since joing Scunny and I will be happy . Please, lets hope he does not get injured in training like Findley, that treatment room must be full to the brim.

Seriously though, I don't think this is a bad signing. we need to shake things up at front and this guy seems decent when i've watched him before (OK again don't have the stats to back it up).
Lets just hope he hits the ground running and gets us back on track!
It is good to see a new face at Forest and may be Billy sees something in him that Middlesbrough do not. It just seems strange to me that a team near to relegation are offloading a striker, hope I am wrong?
To be honest with you i think we have enough quality, i believe what were missing is a good experienced vocal lad whos been there done that. Someone getting us over the finish line who knows what its all about.

i fink he will be a good signing and do the business .r strikers r useless rather put camp up front than r strikers at the min.lol but on the other hand boyd banged in loads for rangers. a decent striker at last. maybe 2nd after all???????????

Half time he just stood and chatted, kicked a ball if it came near him.
Warming up showed no more interest.
During the game little more.
I for one am not impressed with him, i'd rather have Rodney, at least he shows passion and willing to win.
Not one for the future of Forest and if what i hear about his wages no wonder Boro are glad he's here.

Boyd looks like another pile of Shite we've signed on first glance.
And yes he didn't look interested at all. At least Rodney looked hungry which is more what we're looking for than a journeyman looking to pick up his wages.
I said before on this blog I was not sure about him, now I'm sure- he's not good enough, ya want a decent striker, Watford's Danny Graham-consistant 20 goals a season plus!
