Pratley calling time on his contract talks

Posted by Sudders on 13/08/2010 12:13:50

According to the rumours, Darren Pratley has called time on his contract talks with Swansea and Forest have made an offer. Surely he'll be on his way now?

Only stumbling block sounds like we haven't reached their valuation of the player which is £1.5m and the money isn't up front.

Sounds like another case of the transfer panel trying to get the championship's best players on the cheap.

My heart says we'll sign him, however, unfortunately I feel we may miss out on the player and get a fine for tapping him up! Serves them right if this is the case!

Come on Forest let's give us fans some good news!

Means nowt by the stalling of contract talks at Swansea. The way our infamous panel act backed by Mr Arse wipe himself, we always mess about for far too long and end up with nothing. Personally even though I will eat humble pie if wrong, I dont expect anybody to come in before deadline day/

I'm afraid I may have to agree with you there Daviet! As much as I'd love to see some players come in, I just can't see it happening. Mark Arthour does seem to mess about too much and sometimes this technique doesn't work. The longer we go on without signing these players, the less chance we'll have of signing them i.e. Swansea and Cardiff have both had convincing victories!!

Well apparently now he's being linked with a Premiership move. If only we had offered a decent fee for him...
