After another pointless excursion to Lancashire yesterday. We MUST start getting 3 points on our travels as we probably won't win 18 home games like we did last season. Admittedly, Burnley will probably be a difficult place to win at, but we must turn good scoreless displays into wins........and soon!!
Up The Garibaldi!
Maybe a tad tough on the lads yesterday young man but apart from Tyson who was useless, I thought we played ok and did most of the attacking. If the ref had seen that 'foul' on Wilson, Elliot would have never got that cross in for their goal.
Burnley to their credit were a lot more physical and we played right in their centre backs all game, however we were the better team and maybe a draw would have been the right result. Roll on next week
I think we can draw positives out of yesterday's game. I thought the first half was going to be a complete stalemate with neither team really threatening. Burnley just scored at the right time, and they defended well to keep us out. I thought we lumped the ball in the air too much for my liking with Blackstock struggling to win headers against their centre backs never mind Earnshaw!
I thought when we did pass it about at times we looked good the build up to Tyson's miss standing out. I agree with Daviet, Tyson just isn't good enough for us. I think he's been a great servant throughout league one, however he just isn't what a top championship club need. I can only assume Ando was recovering from injury why Tyson started. Also if we do manage to get Pratley and Wittingham there's no way he'll get in the side unless he starts playing up front.
I'm already looking forward to next week! Hope the lads do well against Bradford but really couldn't care a less if we lost that game!
Nathan Tyson is fucking shite! How on earth he starts a game for us i will never no. If i were Paul Anderson ad be asking Davies if he was taking the piss! Why he gets picked infront of him al never no. Its gunna be another rollercoaster season, theres no way in a million years we will win this league but if we get a couple of new faces in and get shut of the likes of Tyson cant see why we cant get a play off position. Am sure we will beat Leeds at the weekend as they didnt look upto much. Its only 1 game but teams are gunna be lining up differently against us this season as being one of the so called favourites. Get it right Billy!
I think it was a pretty decent performance, Tyson didn't play too well but i'd always keep him in the squad for his pace. I think that by the end of the season Forest will be much higher up the league than Burnley on that display. We do need a couple more players but other than that i remain pretty optimistic of the season ahead.
